The South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center:
Dedicated to promoting nature education in the museum and in the field through hands-on study of the South Fork’s native flora, fauna, and ecosystems.
Southampton Trails Preservation Society:
Formed in 1986, SHTPS advocates for open space in the Town of Southampton, leads weekly hikes, and creates and maintains trails.
East Hampton Trails Preservation Society:

A site for people who enjoy nature and the outdoors and want to find something satisfying to do that will be kind to both themselves and the environment and who want to discover how much natural beauty remains on Long Island.
Long Island Trail Lovers Coalition:
The Long Island Trail Lovers Coalition is a regional organization whose mission is to help preserve, protect, and enhance the natural world and recreation trails and the habitats surrounding them.
The Nature Conservancy:
The Nature Conservancy preserves the plants animals, and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive. This link is to their East Hampton, New York, Conservation Center.
Group for the East End:
A volunteer-directed, professionally-staffed, not-for-profit environmental advocacy organization established in 1972. The Group is dedicated to protecting the environment, rural character, and quality of life across the East End through public advocacy and education.
